My mom started taking Ampyra, and had pretty bad side effects including;

Heart racing
Fever
lack of energy
nervousness

Has anyone experianced the same…please email me at mglickus@gmail.com

***I DO remember you writing adamantly about this, Lisa. I’m going to ask my neurologist for his opinion in April when I see him again. He seems to have a lot of sense with these things and he didn’t permit me to go on Tysabri just because it was easier than the injectables (in terms of administration.)I’d like to hear his take on things. I don’t think my level of disability would warrant me taking it at this time, though.

I must have finally dropped off the influential blogger list. I didn’t receive a press release, but I did quickly write about this once the FDA release their news release yesterday.

Been getting lots of blog hits in the past 21 hours. People are wondering what exactly dalfampridine is since it’s never been mentioned before. Or Ampyra for that matter.

Are they really trying to make it so that it becomes hard to find the mountain of information which is available regarding the origins of this drug?

Someone searching for “ampyra history” is only going to get that you shouldn’t use the drug if you have a history of seizures.
