Hi Debbie---

Thanks for stopping by. I'll come take a look at your blog. I think I'm going to try the "Circle of Ten" idea this year to raise funds (See the recent post with this title.)As for in-person support: I always feared being reminded of what I might become if I saw too many people more disabled than me. This is my completely honest ascertation. Surprisingly I find my group to be pretty upbeat and fun despite the limitations. And there are others in the same boat as me. Also newbies. So an overall good mix. :)

Isn't Facebook an amazing resource and way to connect with people? I am currently using it as the home base for fund raising for the team I started to participate in MS Walk:Columbia 2010. The response has been wonderful. I have yet to get up the nerve to join an in-person support group. I'm glad yours worked out so well. I have just started my blog Ms and Me : My Story at http://walkwithmems.wordpress.com/ . Check it out if you get a chance. I would love some feedback.
