I’m willing to do any laundry. It’s one of my favorite household chores, now that I am a professional housewife. I hate dishes (we have no dishwasher YET), and I hate dusting. But laundry I love. Throw it on through your computer monitor— I’ve got the basket poised to catch it! Ha ha..

that is great you are goig to a concert. i have not been to see live music since…um…since…the spin doctors. yep. i am old.

It was mayhem….The floor under the washer became damp from a broken pipe (which we didn’t know about for several weeks because the leak was initially small), so the clothes piling up next to it became damp also. I threw a lot of them into the dryer to prevent a mildew epidemic. But they still had that icky damp smell.

Next we have to cut up the (old) carpet under the washer and drywall the big hole cut into the wall behind it. Thankfully no guests go into the pantry because it’s off to the side. So I don’t much care what happens to the flooring in there, as long as it’s dry.
