Merely:

How the heck are ya??? I hafta admit that I don't keep up with reading and have wondered how you've been. I have an ADD-riddled brain, but I think about everyone even if I don't keep up.

What you said is very sweet and thoughtful. Thank you. And right back at ya! I think YOUR talent is endless... :)

Hey there!

These are great ideas. I have always written goals for myself...they are fun to look at from ages ago...all the to do lists and things I had planned...some things did come true and other things..well...they are permanently stuck in a wish list.

It is good to see you. I have had so little time to blog...but I miss it so. I hope you acheive all your dreams...you have the talents and motivation to do most anything you set your mind to.

I hafta tell you guys that I am lost without my no-frills dollar store planner. It keeps me focused and productive. Maybe I will upgrade, Ivy, once I finish this one! LOL.... I also like what you mentioned about keeping track of things, Ivy. MSers can use planners to just remember tasks. Ones who are busy out in the workforce could need them to keep track of what an "MS mind" can easily forget. Great point.

Bubbie: I think we're living parallel lives in FL and NJ. :P

What great advice! I’m a planner by nature and LOVE lists. The less I need to keep track of in my head, the better. I’ve been addicted to my Franklin Covey planner since I got one at work 10 years ago. It certainly doesn’t need to be anything that expensive. Dollar store products are awesome, too. Just make sure there’s enough room to write.

I use my planner for work and for the rest of my life. I find that if I don’t have something on a list, it will keep me awake at night until I’ve gotten it out of my head and onto the to-do list. Biting off more than one can possible chew in a day can make things even worse, as you mentioned. Part of the Covey approach is to only write down on that day what you can do in that day (write the rest somewhere else) and prioritize it. Get through what you can or what you have to that day, cross/check it off, and move the remaining stuff to the next day. I know it gives me a sense of accomplishment and helps me manage my time, energy, and stress level.

I completely agree that being accountable to someone, anyone, really helps! I love the idea of rewarding and celebrating accomplishments.

Jen, so nice of you to write about ME. lol
Excellent post! Like Wonka said, "so much time, so little to do".
Not only do I dally and procrastinate with so much time, I then chastise myself for having accomplished nothing, and then eventually overwhelm myself with all that I want to do and feel I have to do.
