I got active with smurfs once...but that's a long story. Ok, if you insist---I was stocking them for a display at a Hallmark store and the #$%^& smurfs came tumbling down, took me hours unpacking and stacking and picking up rogue Smurfs. Ugh. Probably caused my MS. I wonder if keeping our brains active really does a thing...some very intelligent and mentally active people still have succumbed to diseases of the brain and they seem to age no better than folks who sat in front of TV all day. Then again, who is to say TV does not keep the brain active? I STILL can't follow LOST...we know soooo LITTLE about our brains.

Well said Jen. I've been writing on the physical rather than mental, but attitude is indeed everything - and it's great that you've highlighted this in your excellent blog. Regards from down under, KB
