Thanks, guys!....I am exhausted. My mom, who is 69, is in way better shape and dragged my friend and me all over creation....We had a great time and did a ton of things in such a short period of time. We saw the "O" Cirque du Soleil show (had all the water) and it was mindblowing.

Be back soon and GO TO JOAN'S CHATROOM TONIGHT if you're reading this.....!

Oh Vegas! I love it. I just told my hubby tonight we need to go back there this year and I want to see the Beatles "Love" Cirque show. Make sure you blog and tell us about your trip when you return!

Thanks, Steve, for the further tips and tricks. And especially the male perspective (which I don't often get here.) As you state, "Don't let disability stop you!"

Thanks for stopping by.

Sincerely,

Jen

For men with incontinence and mobility issues, a handheld urinal can be a facesaver when push comes to a stronger push. A condom catheter and a leg bag is a bit more discrete, but some men don't find them very comfortable or reliable. Check with your local medical supply store.

BR and I traveled to Vegas last April. We needed to arrange for a rental hospital bed, hoyer lift, and commode/shower chair. The hotel needed to remove one of the beds to make room for all the equipment.

Research cab companies with "ramp" or "wheelchair" taxis and put their numbers into your cell phone. In Vegas, the wait for these cabs was quite long during certain hours. Your first driver will likely have good advice.

So if you enjoy traveling, don't let disability stop you! Plan ahead. Ask for what you need. And confirm, confirm, confirm!

A. I'm traveling with my mum and my other just-as-rambunctious college buddy (hehe), so I'm not sure about the trouble we'll get into. Probably be sitting sipping old lady drinks at the poker machines....

B. I'm not planning on packing it in any time soon. I'm banking on outlasting YOU...LMAO a LOT....

'Bye, you kook...!!

Thanks, guys! I need a vacation RIGHT NOW!!!

Yay, Joan! I'll be back for the 13th. Not sure about the end of March-- might be in Florida. No, I'm not some jet-setter but just extra lucky these next couple of months. Makes up for lack of trips in the past few years. But I will have my eye out for Chris Angel (Mindfreak) although he and his cat Hammie(!) live at the top of the Luxor.

Lisa-- I'll place a bet on red for you...!
